The animal repeller can be operated either by the included power supply or 4 x 1.5 volt mono-batteries. This way it is possible to use it nearly everywhere: it can be placed in the entrance area as well as in the rest of the garden, like the flowerbed or sandbox.
As soon as the passive infrared sensor detects a movement inside the supervised area (ca. 10 metres of reach, 120° angle), the animal repeller will act the way you want: it will either send sound waves in various frequency ranges from 16 to 27 kHz or a loud alarm - both together is also possible
