Description
Security headset for radios with 2.5 mm standard connectors for external microphone / headset units.
Sound hose and earplugs are transparent and allow such an inconspicuous wearing. The cable and the hose can be discreetly moved to the body or clothing and attached by means of rotating retaining clips.
The control unit has a slider for PTT/VOX operation and a PTT button. The microphone is located next to the button.
PTT (push to talk) mode, the radio sends as long as you press the PTT key. As soon as you release the button, the radio is again in receive mode.
The VOX mode (voice operated exchange) works only for radios with hands-free function. Wireless device and headset are set, on VOX mode goes the radio automatically on the air when you speak and is thereafter in receive mode.
